Hosting a Field Training Solutions course
DETAILS FOR HOSTING AGENCY
The hosting agency advertises the class regionally, and provides the training room, AV equipment, coffee, and whatever is customary for morning refreshments in your area.
We will post the class on our website Schedule page and on the POST website (Minnesota only). We will handle all course registrations, confirmation letters, instruction, materials used for teaching/training, Minnesota POST compliance, and certificates of attendance. We will also provide you with a customized e-flyer to help with your local advertising.
A minimum of 24 participants is needed to run the course and the maximum class size is 30.
Suggestions for promoting a course at your agency:
- Announcements at county Chiefs of Police Meetings.
- Announcement via communication networks in your region.
- Direct contact with FTO coordinators in your area.
- Course descriptions available at our website underneath the “Courses” tab.
